Description

The gate piers and gate to Carlyon House were built around the 1860s. They feature stuccoed gate piers and a cast-iron and wrought-iron gate. The square-section piers have platbands and simple oversailing caps. The gate itself has horizontal rails and two sets of diagonal braces, which include floral bosses at the intersections. Additionally, the gate is adorned with scrollwork above the top rail.
