Description
The walls and gate piers between the stable block and coach house at Tregrehan House were likely built around 1851 for Edward Carlyon. They are constructed from red local rubble and feature Pentewan stone copings along with ashlar piers. The central carriage gateway is flanked by square-on-plan piers and high cyma-on-plan walls. The piers are adorned with moulded plinths and cornices. This structure is part of a significant group of buildings associated with Tregrehan House.
