Description
The gate piers, walling, and gate located approximately 80 meters north of Trewince House date from the early 19th century. They feature painted stucco walls and piers, along with a wrought iron gate. The carriageway is flanked by two square piers topped with pyramidal caps and eagles. The curved flanking walls rise up to square terminal piers, also with pyramidal caps. The gate consists of nine rails that have increasing spacing towards the top rail, adorned with fleur de lys cresting. It includes a central bar with a scrolled centerpiece and hooped bracing.
