Description
The Old Rectory is an early 19th-century rectory constructed with stucco over stone rubble walls. It features a hipped asbestos slate roof with a hidden valley and slightly projecting eaves. The building has rendered chimneys located on the north and west side walls, as well as the south rear wall of the service wing. The layout consists of a two-room, double-depth central stair plan, along with a service wing to the west. The structure is two storeys high and has three window fronts on the south and east sides, which include a stucco plinth and corner pilasters resembling panelled piers. The windows are 12-pane hornless sashes. The east entrance front showcases an original stucco doorway with pilasters and a simple entablature, although the door has been replaced with a 12-pane sash. French windows are present on the ground floor to the left and right of the south front. The interior has been subdivided but still retains some plaster ceiling cornices.
