Description

The entrance gate with piers, located approximately 500 meters northwest of Trewithen House, dates from the early 19th century. It features a wrought iron gate with six bars, an arched stay topped with a central scrolled finial, and arched stiles that include looped stiffening and fleurs de Lys. The gate also has later cross bracing. The piers are arch-headed with a sunburst design and have looped stiffening.
