Description
This is a barn with an attached cart shed located approximately 10 metres south-east of Bridge Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. The structure is built of unrendered stone rubble with brick dressings and features a slate roof with clay ridge tiles. The barn has a U-shaped plan, with a covered walkway between the projecting wings. The cart shed extends from the left (east) side and faces the road.
The barn includes double plank doors to the left of two plank doors, with a slate pentice roof supported on timber posts that create the covered walkway. The right-hand wing has a plank door on the inner face, while the left-hand wing features a loft door on the inner face and a plank door at the front end. All openings are topped with brick lintels. The cart shed is open-fronted and consists of four bays.
