Description
No. 80 Boutport Street is a house and shop built between 1860 and 1870. It features a painted brick front with stone dressings, and the roof is not visible from the street. The building has three storeys and a two-window range. The ground storey has a late 19th century or early 20th century shop front, with a display window that has likely been altered. There are fluted pilasters at each end of the shop front, topped with shaped brackets that support small pedimented blocks. The upper-storey windows have inset flanking shafts and prominent bracketed cills. The second-storey windows are designed with pointed arches and hoodmoulds, while the third-storey windows have plain cranked heads. A bracketed eaves cornice runs along the top, featuring shaped blocks at each end. The interior has not been inspected.
