Description

This is an early 19th-century range of buildings on South Street in South Molton. The buildings are two storeys high and have a roughcast exterior. They are topped with a slate roof. There are 14 sash windows in total, most of which retain their original glazing bars. Number 53 has a first-floor canted bay window with three lights. Numbers 51 and 52, 53 and 54, and 55 and 56 each feature paired doorcases with cornices and pilasters. These doorcases are surmounted by rectangular fanlights and contain six-panelled doors. Number 50 has a round-headed doorcase with a fanlight. Number 57 has a simpler doorcase, and Number 58 has a later shop front. The buildings are of group value.
