Description

No. 27 on South Street is an early 18th-century building that was altered in the early 19th century. It is two stories high and has a cement-rendered exterior. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring a coved eaves cornice. The building has a stringcourse and rusticated quoins. There are three sash windows with intact glazing bars, with the center window having a cambered shape. On the ground floor, there are two slightly curved bow windows. The central doorcase has a round-headed arch, a fanlight, and a heavy wooden weather hood supported by brackets. The roof at the rear has four hips.
