Description

This is a row of late 18th-century townhouses on North Street. The buildings are stucco-faced and three storeys high, with a parapet along the roofline. They have four ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. Number 45 features a six-panelled door, with a doorcase comprising moulded pilasters, an open pediment, and a blind semi-circular fanlight above. Number 47 has a similar door and doorcase. Number 49 has a more recent door. The doorcases of numbers 45, 47, and 49 are identical, sharing a single pediment and fanlight. The ground floor window openings on the other properties are modern. Numbers 41 to 59 (odd) are considered a group.
