This is a row of four early 19th-century buildings on the north-west side of Washington Street. Numbers 33 to 35 have stuccoed facades, while number 36 is built of red brick. Each property has two storeys and a single window. The windows are sash windows set in slightly segmental arches. Numbers 33 and 34 have doorways with fluted frames and flat hoods above, and numbers 35 and 36 have doorways with Doric pilasters and rectangular pediments with modillions. The buildings form a continuous frontage with numbers 25 to 32. Numbers 1 to 18 and 22 to 40 also form a group.
