Description

These are two early 19th-century houses located within the early 19th-century Somerstown suburb. They are two storeys high and each has one window. The construction is flint with sharp flint surrounds and yellow brick dressings. The houses have a shared entablature above a pair of doorways, topped with modern pediments. A small cornice with modillions runs below the eaves. Number 1 has six-panel moulded doors, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. Nos 1 to 50 Cavendish Street form a group.
