Description

The house at the north-western end of St Richard's Catholic Social Centre is a former school house that dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is located on the south-west side of St Paul's Road and projects forward from the school, contributing to the south-east terrace in Cavendish Street. The building is two storeys high and features two windows. Its construction includes flint with yellow brick dressings, and it has a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. The sash windows retain their original glazing bars.
