Description

This is an early 19th century row of two-storey buildings located on the south side of Wrawby Street. The buildings are constructed of brick with Welsh slate roofs. Number 52 has three windows, featuring stucco lintels and hung sash windows with glazing bars. A decorative band runs along the cills. The corner of number 52 is rounded. The other buildings in the row have two windows each, also with hung sash windows and lintels, although number 51 lacks glazing bars. Most of the buildings have modern shop fronts, except for number 48, which retains a more original appearance. Number 48 has a single window divided into three lights with glazing bars, a lintel, a doorway with plain pilasters and an entablature, a rectangular fanlight, and a four-panel door. Two foot scrapers are also present. The buildings are included on the list as part of a wider group, which also comprises numbers 41, 43 to 65, numbers 41 to 47, and number 56, all of which are considered to be of local interest.
