Description
12 Bigby Street is a two-building structure with origins dating back to the 18th century. The southern building features two storeys made of pale brick and has a pantile roof. It includes one modern window and one blocked window above the modern window, as well as a blocked doorway. To the right, there is a small doorway with a thin moulded surround and a door consisting of six fielded panels.
The northern building likely dates from the early 19th century and also has two storeys, constructed from yellow brick with a pantile roof. It features stone coped gable ends with kneelers and two brick stacks. There are two windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars, except for the upper left-hand window. These windows have moulded surrounds, segmental arches, and rendered lintels. Additionally, there is a glazed door with a similar surround and lintel.
This building is included as part of a group, which consists of Nos 8, 11, The Hchqqge Club, 12, and 14.
