The gravestones date from 1772 and are made of slate. The stone at the foot of the grave displays an hourglass flanked by crossed bones, with an inscription that reads: "my peacefull grave shall keep my Bons till that sweet day that I a wake from my Long Sleep And leve my bead of Clay."
