Description

This is a group of five headstones located 8 metres east of the Church of St Mary, dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. They are made of stone. One of the headstones is plain and inscribed to Rebekah Spragg, who died in 1708. Another features a carved head with a swan-neck pediment, cherubs both inside and outside, and a skull and hourglass below the inscription, which is surrounded by drapes. The remaining three headstones have shaped heads, but their inscriptions are illegible.
