Description
This granary, located approximately 3 metres east of Collacott Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of unrendered stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends. The building is rectangular in shape and was originally a lofted granary, but it is now a single-storey structure. The east gable end has a plank door with a loft opening above it, and there are loft openings on each side. At the west gable end, there is a double flight of external stone steps leading to a blocked loft doorway. The granary is positioned at the north end of the central midden of the courtyard range of farm buildings behind Collacott Farmhouse.
