Description

The granary, located 80 meters south of Broadwell Manor, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone, featuring dressed quoins and a stone slate roof. The building has one storey and a loft. The east gable end has stone steps leading up to a loft door with a wooden lintel. On the north side, there is a door to the lower part of the granary and a window above it, which has a wooden mullion and a stop-chamfered wooden lintel. The far gable end has been altered, with weatherboarding on the upper section and a vehicle entry below. This granary is included for its group value.
