Description

Maisey Cottage is a small house dating from the early 19th century. It is built from coursed rubble limestone and features a stone slate roof with flanking rubble stone chimneys. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows are leaded casements with wooden lintels, all from the early 19th century. The left bay has a 4-light window on the ground floor and a 3-light window above, while the right bay has two 2-light windows. There is a blind window panel in the center of the first floor, above a boarded door with a wooden lintel. To the right of the door, there is a recess with a boot scraper. A small extension, dated RHF 1972, is located to the right of the main structure. The cottage is included for its group value.
