Description

Farmhouse, dating circa 1870-1880. Constructed of unrendered stone rubble with brick dressings. It has a hipped slate roof with brick stacks at each end, the stack on the left side having been reduced in height and rendered. The building originally featured a symmetrical two-room front and a central stairhall, with a depth of two rooms. A two-story service wing extends to the rear right side, creating a general L-shaped layout. The front elevation has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The windows are all 19th-century, featuring hornless 16-pane sashes with cambered brick lintels and quoins. A gabled slate roof covers a brick and stone rubble porch, which was extended in the 20th century. The front door is six-panelled, with the upper three panels glazed. The interior retains 19th-century joinery.
