Description
94 and 95 Newport Road are a pair of terraced houses built in the early 19th century. They feature solid rendered fronts and have slated roofs. The houses have red brick chimneys on the end and party walls, with the central chimney being rendered.
Each house is two storeys tall and has a two-window range. The right-hand ground-storey window has been replaced by a round-arched doorway. The doorways are bead-moulded and have six-panelled doors; the door to No. 95 is now deeply recessed and has two glazed top panels. No. 94 features a knocker and a fanlight with radial bars. Both doorways have worn stone steps.
To the left of each house, there are 8-paned sash windows, while the windows above the doorways have 6-paned sashes. The interiors have not been inspected, but it is noted that the ground-storey window at No. 95 has panelled shutters.
