Description

The former school and school-house, now serving as offices and a workshop for Mole Valley Farmers, was built in 1846 with an addition made in 1898. The building is constructed of random rubble and features slate roofs with wide eaves at the gable ends, along with a stone bellcote on the ridge to the right.

The structure consists of a two-storey school-house on the right, which is attached to a single-storey schoolroom. It is designed in a loose Tudor style. The exterior displays a mix of one and two-storey heights, with an asymmetrical front featuring a window arrangement of 2:1:1:1:2. The two-bayed school-house on the right has two-light stone-mullioned and transomed windows, each with diamond-paned cast-iron casements. Between these windows is a blocked door opening with a four-centred arch. The single-storey schoolroom to the left mirrors the style of the school-house and has three shallow front-facing gabled wings, with two-light stone-mullioned windows, one of which is blocked. The interior has been largely stripped of detail due to its current use as offices and a workshop.
