Shop. 1890s remodelling of earlier building. Stuccoed and blocked out, roof material concealed behind parapet; no stacks visible from the High Street. Deep plan, one room wide, end on to the High Street. 4 storeys. 2-window front with late C20 fenestration replacing original sashes. First-floor windows have bracketed cornices with decorative friezes. Dentilled cornice to parapet. C20 shop front with shop windows canted in to central door. INTERIOR: ground floor gutted for shop use, rest of interior not inspected. Included for group value.
