Description
No. 26 Queen Street is a shop building dating from the early to mid 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of stucco and features a parapeted roof. The building has three storeys and a three-window range, topped with an entablature and parapet. The shop front was altered in the 20th century. The windows are framed with architraves and have four-pane sashes with horns. The first-floor windows include panelled aprons, architraves, friezes, and consoled cornices, with the central window being segmental. The second-floor windows have bracketed sills, and the central window is segmental-headed with a plain surround and cornice. There is a gable-end stack. This building is included for its group value.
