Description
Farleigh Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse constructed with stucco over rubble walls, featuring rubble stacks with brick tops and a slate roof. It has a double-depth, two-room plan with a central staircase. The two-storey front has a three-window arrangement of hornless 12-pane sash windows, with a narrower sash window in the centre of the first floor. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a geometric pattern of glazing bars in the overlight. The door has panelled reveals and a porch with square-sectioned posts exhibiting decorative recessed panels and a moulded entablature. Flat pilasters are positioned at each end of the front, and there is a deep, plain wooden eaves cornice. The roof is gabled at each end. The interior retains some original joinery and plasterwork.
