Description
Clitchbury Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of stucco with dressed stone copings and a concrete tile roof featuring end rendered stacks. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window north front. The ground floor has two French windows in the outer bays, while the first floor features 16-pane sash windows. The upper floor has 12-pane sashes in the outer bays and a 9-pane sash window in the centre, all framed within moulded architraves. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight, and there is a lean-to verandah that spans the entire width of the facade, supported by plain cast iron posts. The ground floor displays incised rustication, with side pilasters, platbands on the first and second floors, and a plain parapet. To the left, there is a Tudor-arched doorway with a plank door set in a screen wall, along with contemporary panelled gate piers and railings leading to the entrance forecourt.
