Description
Culverpark Cottage is a cottage dating from around the mid-19th century, built from local stone rubble with a thatched roof featuring a plain ridge and gabled ends. It has a central axial stack with a brick shaft. The cottage has a single depth plan, two rooms wide, with the left-hand room having a small service room partitioned off at the front, and an entrance located at the left gable end.
It is two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front facing the road. The eaves of the thatch rise as gables, topped with peaked thatched roofs above the left and right first-floor windows. The windows are two-light casements with six panes per light, except for the central first-floor window, which is a 20th-century casement. The garden elevation features plinth casement windows with glazing bars and segmental brick arches over the ground floor windows. There is a 20th-century door in the gable end, accompanied by a 20th-century gabled timber porch. The interior has not been inspected.
