Description

NEWTON ST CYRES THE VILLAGE SX 89 NE 5/33 Gate Posts - approx 40 metres east of Glebe House GV II Gate posts. Inscribed A.Q, 1715. Granite. Plain, square-sectioned piers chamfered along the top inside edges and surmounted by balls. Initials inscribed to right and date to left. One pier now reset, considerably widening the entrance.
