Description

These gate posts, located approximately 20 metres south-east of Furlong, date from around 1840. They are made of granite and are monolithic, meaning they are carved from a single piece. The posts are square in shape with rounded heads and feature ball finials. They are linked to the significant 19th-century rebuilding of Furlong and serve as the entrance from the drive to the forecourt of the house.
