Description

The gate posts located approximately 30 metres east of Parford House date from the early 20th century. They are made of granite and are monolithic, square in section, with rounded tops and ball finials. The original wrought-iron double gates are included, featuring bracing with curving pieces. The centre styles of the gates rise above the top bar and are decorated with scrolls. These gates are part of the extensive early 20th-century refurbishment that also affected Parford House, its ash house, and the coach house and stables.
