Description
This is a circa mid-19th century house built of stucco with a slate hipped roof and rendered stacks. It is an example of Italianate style architecture. The two-storey building has a symmetrical two-bay south-east front, featuring rusticated quoins, a band and guilloche frieze below the eaves, and cambered arch sash windows. The first-floor windows have glazing bars, while the ground-floor windows have keyblocks and spandrels, with canopies supported by console brackets. A porch on the left (south-west) side has rusticated jambs, a round arch, and a panelled balustrade. The interior has not been inspected. This house is one of a group of stuccoed Italianate villas located along Lyndhurst Road.
