Nos. 8 and 9, Fore Street, are a pair of 18th-century buildings. They were likely originally constructed of cob and are now rendered. Each building is two storeys high and has a single window. The first floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor of No. 8 has been obscured by a lean-to structure, while No. 9 has a more modern shop front. The roofs are covered in slate.
