Description

13 and 14 Fore Street are a pair of late 18th-century buildings, forming part of a group of listed buildings along Fore Street. The frontages are of red brick. The buildings are three storeys high with five windows each. They have sash windows with glazing bars, set in flush frames, with the first floor windows being tripartite. Number 13 has a modern shop front and an archway on the ground floor, while number 14 has a late 19th-century public house frontage incorporating earlier fluted pilasters. The buildings feature a modillion cornice and are topped with a slate roof.
