Nos 2 and 4 Majorfield Road are 17th century cottages located behind the Fore Street Post Office in Topsham. The buildings are two storeys and three storeys high, constructed from colour-washed brick. They feature half-dormers and door-hoods supported by brackets. The windows include sash windows and casements, with some casements having leaded lights and handmade glass. The roofline is varied, with No 4 being taller and featuring a projecting brick string. Both cottages have slate roofs.
