Description
Lloyds Bank, located at No. 77 Fore Street in Topsham, is a Grade II listed building. The upper part of the bank is a three-storey structure with two windows, made of colourwashed brick and dating from around 1700. It features rusticated quoins and sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance has a pedimented Ionic doorcase, while the modern bank frontage is also present. The building has a parapet, and the modern roof is not visible. Inside, the first-floor room includes panelling and a moulded ceiling. The lower part of No. 77 is a plain brick front from the late 18th or early 19th century, also three storeys high with two windows, featuring sash windows with glazing bars except on the ground floor. The roof is slate. All the listed buildings on Fore Street are part of a group.
