Description

Probably dating to the 17th century, 79 and 80 Fore Street are ancient structures with a more modern pebble-dash front. The rear of the building is constructed of stone, and a lower portion of an external chimney is made of 2-inch bricks. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has two windows. Small 19th-century shop fronts are located on the ground floor, above which are sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is covered in tarred slate, featuring a single dormer window. A spiral staircase is present within the property. The listed buildings along Fore Street form a notable group.
