Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century, three-story double-fronted house on Magdalen Street. The front has a modern cement rendering with quoins. It has three-light sash windows from which the glazing bars have been removed. A good doorcase features a semi-circular fanlight and brackets, sheltering panelled double doors set in panelled reveals. Brackets are also present at the eaves. The roof is covered with corrugated iron. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 39, 40, 42 to 46, 49, and 50 on the street.
