Description

This is a late 18th-century building on Lawton Street. It is a three-storey red brick structure with three sash windows on each floor. The windows have simple, cemented lintels and stone sills. A central doorway is defined by a moulded and painted stone surround, which incorporates a rectangular fanlight with decorative fretwork and a six-panelled door. The eaves are moulded wood, and the roof is slate. The building forms a group with numbers 19 to 25 on the same side of the street.
