Description
Bradshaw House, located at 21 Lawton Street, is a larger late Georgian house built around 1820. It is constructed of red brick with a stone plinth and has two storeys. The façade features five sash windows, each with flat brick arches and stone sills. The central doorway is framed by a semi-circular headed small stone surround, complete with a radial fanlight and a six-panelled door. Above, there is a parapet adorned with a modillion cornice, and the roof is covered with slates. A stone perron extends across the front, featuring rounded ends and steps that rise from right to left, along with contemporary wrought iron railings and modern railings for the steps. Bradshaw House is part of a group that includes Nos 19 to 25 (odd).
