Description

Higher End, part of the Home of the Good Shepherd, is a building from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It has three storeys and a front with five windows, featuring rusticated quoins. The building includes a half-basement and a wide Tuscan porch with steps, which has an iron balustrade that curves and ends on curtail steps. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there is a cornice along the top. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, with brick stacks at the ends.
