Description

Brook Farmhouse is a 2-storeyed building dating from 1609, with a later date tablet of 1633 on the chimney. The farmhouse is constructed of plastered cob with a stone rubble west end wall, and has a long, low thatched roof. An external stone chimney with offsets is located at the east end, and another stone stack with coping sits on the west end ridge. A canted brick stack with a date tablet is also present. The farmhouse has five 19th-century wooden casement windows and a 19th-century partly glazed door with three vertical flush panels.
