Description

No. 12 School Street is a 17th century, two-storey cottage with a stone front and a thatched roof, located on the west side of School Street in Sidford. It features an external chimney base with a small jointed window made from a single stone on one side, and a brick stack. The second external chimney is constructed from knapped flint and stone in a chequered pattern, with a vertical break in the stack. The cottage has 19th century wood casement windows, some of which have been altered, and a plain cottage door. This house is noted as the best in the row.
