Description
Numbers 1 and 2 Rivulet Cottages, along with Vinnicombe's Bakery and Barnscot, are early 19th century two-storey cottages located on Church Street in Sidford. The cottages flank the bakery, which may date from the late 18th century. Each of the Rivulet Cottages features one 19th century casement window. The bakery has three first-floor windows, an early 20th century shop front, and two ground-floor windows with a door between, all featuring recessed sashes with intact glazing bars. Barnscot has two later sash windows on the first floor and small rectangular bay windows on the ground floor. All buildings have gable end slate roofs. This group also includes The Cottage, Rosemary Cottage, St Anthony's, Hillside View, Nos 1 and 2 Thatched Cottages, and Laburnum Cottage.
