Description
Numbers 1 and 2 Thatched Cottages are two-storey cob cottages located on the north side of Church Street in Sidford, dating from the 18th or 19th century. They feature thatched roofs, with No 1 having four casement windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, all of which are 19th-century casements with ledges above. No 2 has two 19th-century casements on the first floor and three on the ground floor. Both cottages have modern thatched porches. They are part of a group that includes The Cottage, Rosemary Cottage, St Anthony's, Hillside View, Nos 1 and 2 Rivulet Cottages, Vinnicombe's Bakery, Barnscot, and Nos 1 and 2 Thatched Cottages, as well as No 1 (Laburnum) and No 2 (Laburnum Cottage).
