Description

Nos 80 and 81 on Chapel Street in Sidbury are a pair of cob cottages dating back to 1633. They are positioned at right angles to the road and are located next to Nos 76 to 79. The walls of the cottages are currently roughcast, and they feature a 19th-century pantile roof with projecting eaves. Each cottage has one window on the ground floor and two-light wood casements, which are modern, on the first floor. Both cottages have gabled wood porches. The gable end street elevation of No 80 includes two casements on each floor. These cottages, along with Nos 68 to 70 (Woodvale Cottage) and Nos 71 to 81, form a cohesive group.
