Description

This is an 18th and 19th century, two-story cob house situated on Chapel Street in Sidbury. It forms part of a row of buildings that includes numbers 76 to 79. The house has a thatched roof with an uneven eaves line and a rounded corner. It features three sash windows with intact glazing bars, set within flush frames. A rectangular bay shop window, likely from the late 18th or early 19th century, projects from the front, incorporating a boxed frieze and a moulded cornice. A glazed front door is complemented by a rectangular fanlight. The building is part of a group that includes Woodvale Cottage (numbers 68 to 70) and numbers 71 to 81 on Chapel Street.
