Description

Woodvale Cottage is a row of two-storey cob cottages dating from the 18th century, located on Chapel Street in Sidbury. The cottages feature an irregular corner block, with the front having a slightly convex shape and a rounded southwest corner. They are all covered by a common thatched roof, with the eaves line rising to a higher level. The windows are wood casements, some of which include leaded lights. There is a stone and brick external chimney situated at the northwest corner of No 68. A carriage arch leading to the rear of No 70 displays a "Sun fire insurance plaque." Woodvale Cottage, along with Nos 71 to 81, forms a group of listed buildings.
