Description

This is a row of four cottages, dating from the 18th or early 19th century. The exterior is rough cast, and the roofs are thatched. Each cottage has two windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor. Most windows are 19th-century casements, but St Anthony’s has sash windows, and the ground floor of Hillside View features a later 19th-century canted bay window with an entablature. Later doors have been added. The cottages, together with Rosemary Cottage, St Anthony’s, Hillside View, Nos 1 and 2 Rivulet Cottages, Vinnicombe's Bakery, Barnscot, Nos 1 and 2 Thatched Cottages, No 1 (Laburnum) and No 2 (Laburnam Cottage), form a group of group value.
