Description
Little Thatch and St Anthony's is a pair of cottages that were originally one house, dating from the early 18th century or possibly earlier, with a 20th-century extension. The cottages have rendered cob walls and a gable-ended thatch roof, supported by two brick gable end stacks. The original layout was likely a two-room plan house that has been divided into two one-room plan cottages, with a single-storey extension added to St Anthony's at the left end.
The exterior features two storeys and an asymmetrical front. Little Thatch, on the right, has a two-window front with mid to late 20th-century leaded pane casements. There is a 20th-century gabled porch to the left of the centre, which has a part-glazed door behind it. St Anthony's, on the left, also has a two-window front but with 20th-century two-light casements. It features a lean-to 20th-century porch to the right of the centre with a part-glazed door. The 20th-century single-storey addition is located at the left-hand end. The interior was inaccessible during the survey but may contain early features.
